ES Es una artista visual multidisciplinaria, ha sido profundamente influenciada por la naturaleza tropical que la rodea y por una familia artística, incluida su madre arquitecta. Desde sus primeros años en la escuela, estuvo rodeada de creatividad, lo que la llevó a estudiar arquitectura en la Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), donde siguió creciendo su pasión por la pintura. Los óleos se convirtieron en su segundo medio favorito, ofreciendo la libertad de experimentar con textura y fluidez. Su obra captura la esencia de la naturaleza y de los momentos cotidianos, expresando nostalgia, alegría y esperanza a través de colores vibrantes y trazos.
Más allá de la pintura, Laura cofundó una marca de estilo de vida junto a su hermana, desempeñándose como directora creativa y diseñando textiles, piezas para el hogar y branding. Su obra ha sido presentada en exposiciones colectivas, incluida la Fine Arts Showcase 2023 organizada por SCAD Paint, y su primera exposición individual se llevará a cabo en 2025 en MetroBank Panamá. A través de su arte, busca inspirar alegría y esperanza, guiada por la creencia de que cada momento de la vida puede convertirse en una forma de arte.
El arte de Laura está impulsado por la pregunta: "¿Cómo puedo convertir cada momento en arte?" Este concepto, conocido como el arte de vivir, es central en su proceso creativo. Encuentra belleza en los momentos más simples de la vida, ya sea en una caminata tranquila por la naturaleza, una experiencia compartida con seres queridos, o incluso un momento de alegría al disfrutar de un helado. Su obra es un reflejo de la profundidad emocional que se encuentra en la vida cotidiana.
EN Laura is a multidisciplinary visual artist, deeply influenced by the tropical nature surrounding her and an artistic family, including her architect mother. From her early school years, she was immersed in creativity, which led her to study architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where her passion for painting continued to grow. Oil painting became her second favorite medium, offering the freedom to experiment with texture and fluidity. Her work captures the essence of nature and everyday moments, expressing nostalgia, joy, and hope through vibrant colors and brushstrokes.
Beyond painting, Laura co-founded a lifestyle brand with her sister, taking on the role of creative director, designing textiles, home pieces, and branding. Her work has been showcased in group exhibitions, including the 2023 Fine Arts Showcase organized by SCAD Paint, and her first solo exhibition will take place in 2025 at MetroBank Panama. Through her art, she aims to inspire joy and hope, guided by the belief that every moment in life can be turned into a form of art.
Laura's art is driven by the question, "How can I make every moment be art?" This concept, known as the art of living, is central to her creative process. She finds beauty in the simplest moments of life—whether it’s a quiet walk through nature, a shared experience with loved ones, or even a joyful moment of indulging in an ice cream.
